I was working close by and noticed the diner. I really enjoyed the staff. The place was super clean and the food was great. A perfect little spot that is worth a drive for a nice meal.
Stopped in after taking my kids to Slate Run Farm. I love checking out diners. The food was fast and the kids loved their food. Ordered a basic cheeseburger. Solid taste. Not over done. Portions could be bigger but loved the place. Great spot to visit if you are in the area.
Small town feel, good food and friendly staff! Will support them indefinitely! ( chili and grilled cheese is delicious and affordable) I’ve had multiple visits and will continue to go!
Cherry Street Diner was a very pleasant surprise as I was passing through town. This is an excellent, multi-generation family diner. My omelet was great and their home fries were outstanding. The menu is very straightforward in a good way. Fun fact: the salad bar was fully stocked at 9:50 am
I went for lunch. I walked in after 1:30 not knowing they closed at 2. The place was empty except for one table of people not eating. The server was friendly and didn't make us feel rushed. I ordered breakfast because I thought that would be easy since they were ready to close. It was out fast and it was delicious. I will definitely be back
Step back in time and enjoy the small town hangout where maybe everyone else knows each other but still treat you as a friend. Food was excellent and relatively cheap whilst the service was quick. We will be stopping by the next time we are in town.
Good, solid diner menu. Lots of different burger toppings. We stopped in for a late lunch. Grilled cheese was perfectly done but appeared to have 1 slice of cheese. Cole slaw had a nice kick. Onion rings were small, probably from frozen. The chicken sandwich was more generous, nice slices of tomatoes and crisp lettuce, along with crisp fries. Decor is eclectic, and there's a model train on a track suspended from ceiling. (Why not run it?) Tables widely spaced apart (Covid?) And there are old fashioned stools at counter. But the best part was the terrific server. There weren't a lot of patrons, but she refilled our ice teas without asking and was friendly without being obsequious. Definitely worth a stop. And we heard they have pie!
